About Us

(Woldingham Parents and Staff Association pronounced wupsa)
Woldingham is proud of the relationship between parents, guardians and staff and the work they do together to benefit the school community. The object of the Association is to support the education of pupils in the school and promote effective contact between parents, staff and pupils and to channel the goodwill of parents wishing to assist the School. It achieves this through the WPSA Committee who meet regularly to organise events and discuss matters relating to the operation of the school. The Committee is made up of 2-3 parents from each year group with the Headmistress, Mrs Hutchinson, and other senior staff members. The main objective of the events organised by the Committee is to develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Fundraising is not the primary objective of events but to provide an environment for girls and parents to meet other families and staff in an informal social atmosphere.

WPSA is funded by a termly subscription of £5 per family, additional funds are also raised from some of the WPSA events and sales of WPSA merchandise.

Surplus funds are used to purchase items not normally accommodated within the school budget but which are beneficial to the girls. These have  included
Podcast equipment for the media department
Pews, alter & lectern for the Chapel
Audio books for the library
Control panel & ipad for the auditorium
3 high quality video cameras, with accessories and streaming equipment
